It is nearly March and it is a rainy evening. Sometimes I love to eat raw beets. It is kind of like ruby colored dirt packed with secret minerals.
I saw an amazing movie at the Japan Society here in NYC. The movie was part of a series called Shinjuku Ecstasy which goes until this sunday. It is a celebration of the Art Theatre Guild which released some truly wonderful movies in the late 1960's and early 1970's. "The Inferno of First Love" is a very beautiful movie. One of the best.
